    Swapping programmer

You can but it takes 5 minutes to swap them over. If go for a Honeywell st9400c. That WILL need the new back plate. Alternatively the Drayton LP522 isn't bad either. Just make a note of all the wires. L-N-1-3-4 terminals on a y plan are pretty standard now so it shouldn't need any...

    Concealed cistern troubles

Personally I'd start again. Get a cistern with decent fill and flush valve, sort out that awful flush pipe and cold feed. That's a shocking bit of plumbing

cylinder jacket and hot water pressure

You probably can fit a pump but not just 'anywhere'. There's quite a bit to consider when fitting a pump. Additional jacket won't really be any benefit if your cylinder is already foam lagged.

Increase water pressure with Intergas 36/30? Or diagnostics

I'd agree with Alec. What seems like a loss of performance will son be outweighed by the benefits of having a combi. What type of shower is it? 10 lpm is still adequate for a decent shower!

Changed diverter valve now 230 won't fire

Yet probably more helpful than yours. If the over flow is going its because you aren't meant to use them to drain the boiler. Remove the red head, which is a bit awkward, and clean the seating. I've got a good idea what the fault is but can't advise as its gas man territory. It's a...

    To the manager of Tescos...

The one I like the best is supermarkets using smaller tiles down the aisles of expensive stuff. Its makes the trolley sound like its going faster so you naturally slow down.

    Which Worcester Bosch combi

I agree Worcester range isn't that bad but you need to discuss your needs with an installer on site probably. Re model and controls. I'd avoid Atag intergas etc. Not many installers have even heard of them let alone have experience of working on them. Makes things a bit more problematic when...

Powerflush resulted in leak: liability for carpet damage?

Unless the rad was visibly in poor condition, in which case there would be no point flushing it, I'd say no not really.

Is this how it should be ?

May take a while but will corrode. Would be very unlikely for it to actually be able to drip on the pipework, it't too close to the wall.

Is this how it should be ?

Also looks like there's staining on the floor where the flue is dripping. The terminal can be angled upwards which may help.

    Vaillant Turbomax 242E diverter valve

Have changed some after only a couple of years and these are in flats. If its in a place with twice as many people then it could fail in half the time.

    Vaillant 828e hot water problem

Ok so what do the diagnostics say the problem is? Ill answer for you. Nothing as they can't even see a problem. So why do you trust it so much? And an "expert" has told you the likely problem in the first post.
