    The slight pressure drop is normal. It’s the effect of the pump. Make sure pressure is at least 1bar or 1.2 bar when cold. Noise could be pump, fan or hydraulic noise. An engineer would identify the source!

    The threads create no part of the seal whatsoever and the LSX would’ve been better on the pipe. The threads merely create compression. I tried!

    Could be coming from the flange above. If not, undo that nut and pull the pipe out. Wrap some ptfe around the end of the pipe to make a grommet. Reassemble and test. You may find a rubber olive which can be used again.
