    As Chris says. Ballvalve in loft. Open a cold tap when it’s vibrating. If that stops it it’s definitely your baby.

    Horrid things those baths. Good luck finding the leaks! These things need an experienced plumber for peace of mind. It will need to be a flexi for future access. Whoever designed them should be shot. Survivors should be shot again.

    Can’t see any issues with that not sure on the deck mount legs but Bristan ones come with the shower and will definitely fit.

    When you have this problem leave the tap running and press firmly on top of every other tap in the house. The one that stops the noise is the faulty one. Replace the cartridge.

    Properly designed plumbing waste systems should always be one size larger than the source outlet. It minimises siphonage of the traps! A proper plumber knows this and uses an internal reducer for such applications. Much as someone with an electrical bias will not undersize a cable.

    Pity you didn’t study Plumbing conny,,! There are adapters to do practically everything. Builders likewise. Too many people think it’s easy. Until things go pear shaped.

    Or we could have a fire pit in the centre of the house, remove all doors and windows then get rid of the first floor and remove a few roof tiles to allow the smoke to escape. Boil water in a cauldron over the fire for efficiency! I agree Bernard. The old ways are the best.
