Can you buy ready made insulated walls?

Heat: electrical heater. I came across this video: I can't understand the accent and can't figure out the company name. But... then it would be an American company, so no good for me I guess. I was thinking the technology must be available in the UK as well? Sips panels. Aah yes, I'd...

Can you buy ready made insulated walls?

I want to turn a garden shed into a mini office. Just wondering if you can buy ready made pieces, like base, 4 walls and 2 pieces for the roof. I've seen videos about Elon Musks cheap home - built from ready made pieces. For me, insulation is the most important part! I want to be warm when...

Why would there be 2 lines into 1 socket?

Is it normal to need to jam 2 wires together? surely there must be an alternative - where each wire gets its own socket and both feed into one place? i'm no electrician... but this is serious bad design is there no alternative to the socket?

Why would there be 2 lines into 1 socket?

OK. So not a bodge job. So it's important the wires stay connected into one socket? The socket isn't designed to have 2 sets of wires per wiring (just my laymans uneductated opinion!). Is there an alternative plug where the wires are easier to screw in? Thanks

Why would there be 2 lines into 1 socket?

I made a post a few days ago about my dishwasher socket not working. I bought a non contact voltage pen. When plugged in and plug switched on -voltage was detected. (Dishwasher still not working.) I opened up the socket. Checked for loose wires. Unscrewed the wires to find 2 sets of wires...

    Dishwasher electric socket not working

The dishwasher socket has stopped working. The dishwasher stopped. After diagnosing, I found the socket had no power. Wondering what I should do? Is there a fuse inside of the socket? Should I investigate further to check there is no damage to the wiring? I've never used an electric...

I asked someone who does rendering if I should wash. They said: no, don't worry... just paint Most of the surface I need to paint has no dirt. But there are some parts that definitely need a mini wash and scrub. It makes no sense to me painting over dirt! ‍
