    He most certainly did.

It literally was a war crime.

It's not a country. The country is Ireland.

    So Ireland then.

    Hardly.

I'm confused about junction box rules

I never claimed it wasn't open to interpretation. I merely challenged statements of fact that certain things didn't comply, when these were based in speculation rather than fact. I stand by my condemnation.

Actually he did before I challenged him. That was his response to my challenge. Once again you are being disingenuous. I also condemn those who have liked your post.

I'm confused about junction box rules

The difference is that I didn't present my view as anything other than my considered opinion. I avoided making blanket statements. In fact I even tempered my answers to the scenarios you posited in terms of "probably" and "probably not". So I believe you are being slightly disingenuous.

Would a JB under an access panel be reaonably considered to be accessible? Probably. Does it require a welcome mat over it to achieve this status? Probably not.

No need to throw them out. I'm a big fan of J803s and J804s where necessary. I certainly wasn't suggesting that you have to use the old bakelite JBs. I haven't used any of them in years.

It's certainly my preference also, but it isn't what is required by BS 7671.

Otherwise known as opinion. But we should stick to the facts.

OK. To phrase it differently, which Regulation states that access must be "easy"?

Horizontal safe zone with 'dry lining' back boxes

I quoted one message - not any other message. I didn't read every message before or after the one which caught my eye. I have better things to do than read every message on a thread. Having me even skim-read a message is an honour in itself.

Actually I was responding to one from a number of years back - I never read about your wife in this thread. I genuinely hadn't (and still haven't) read the overwhelming majority of this thread.

    Earth question - Shaver socket

I don't tend to trip over corpses in bathrooms on holidays, so it's probably fair to assume that all of the rest of the world isn't necessarily incorrect about the hazards or lack thereof, but alas we are where we are on this issue.

I didn't read the thread - I just never forget anything.

But you're married to an Irishwoman.
