    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

I have sent them an email for confirmation already. It doesn't have pressure guage, not sure about PRV inside the boiler.

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

If boiler can be placed anywhere in the system; what are the locations where it cannot be placed? Just a thought, I know you said it depends on pipework but considering its a two storey house; the farthest lenght is 100ft from boiler (flow only).

That's the beauty of brainstorming and collective wisdom (wisdom obviously shared by yourself and fixitflav)!

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

That's a good idea but I was avoiding pressurised system due to potential leaks in existing pipework. Boiler being an OV boiler can also work in pressurised system.

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

Edited : As I said purely from a technical standpoint since it is installed on outside wall would it still affect the air intake. The area where it will be installed is un inhabited mostly and will only accessed for servicing after isolation. But I undrstand.

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

Yes, I am not looking for warranty either, I'll stick to the plan of fitting it to the available space, fingers crossed!

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

Yes, it is tight for space, I'll try to fit in the boiler within this space, and see if it works as it should, if not, then will think of something else!

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

That's great then. I have, and its not a great spot for room sealed boiler. I still can have it install there with a weatherproof box around the boiler at a cost of slight inefficiency. The other reason was that I wanted to keep the old boiler installed at that location as backup.

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

Thanks. Its 2m + 0.45m so can't install the boiler in Balcony with 2.1 m available height? If I have to install it at that location which is my only option since it is covered, excellent gas pressure, condensate drain and is closer to bedrooms and lounge then I have to take the cistern over the...

Ah, the pic in post 31 was from manual but I put the numbers various deimensions in it! Sorry if my editing has misled you. Viessmann technical support sent an email, this pic is not in any of the manual that I have seen for this model i.e. dimensions with water level. It wil be pretty tight...

Thanks, will have it installed on Return just before the boiler; Is there a minimum distance limit or you an place it anywhere?

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

Sorry, max 150mm. The pipework and rads are in place and central heating worked with previous boiler fine (with integral pump; it was Grundfos with 5m head). I have never used an external pump in my system so this will be first experience. My initial estimates suggest that with 30k btu load the...

    Flow- Vent- Feed -Pump

I am going to find out after installation. LPG is the back up option in case there is a difference in pressure. I am grateful to you for your time and suggestions and Fixitflav, you have clarified a lot of things which were bothering me. - Will put pump on flow (see pic); - it will be OV...
