Older installation: RCD protecting oven circuit

Whilst RCD protection is now a requirement for new installations i really think your over worrying about it, if the metal case of the oven became live it would short directly to earth and trip the MCB. Also what about the other non-RCD circuits, do you have any metal (chrome/brass) light...

Light switch back box for light circuit wiring

If you are asking such a basic question like that then I think it's best you engage the services of a qualified electrician to carry out this work for you.

    Socket switches don't do anything!

Probably a socket made by BG as thats a common fault with them (for me anyway), lost count of the number of faulty BG sockets I've found.

    White comfort LED's bell box

The strobe is bright enough in my opinion, i have a second system installed on my shed and something triggered it last week, I wasn't home at the time but i noticed the strobe flashing as soon as i was walking up the side of the house and that's whilst it was in direct sunlight. You can probably...

I have the Texecom Odyssey X fitted on my house, very bright white LED's and if you get the cover with the clear lens on the bottom it should be fairly visible during the day. I have one with the blue lens and I've not had an issue seeing them flash during the day except when its been really...

    Is this acceptable work?

Yes it should be in some form of conduit, terminated into a box from which the new Twin and Earth can be extended, the new cable can then be clipped direct.

Mains USB socket without electrical socket?

Would you honestly buy that one from amazon? No brand or safety certification marks, nope no thanks! I'd go with the Kinghtsbridge one, known brand and decent amount of power at 5 amps. The LAP one linked by ericmark is fine too.

No a euro module is the standard for things like ethernet modules etc. That unit and euro plate are made by MK.

    Replacement for ASD Pizza needed

You could probably rescue that fitting by screwing some self tapping screws into whats left of the old plastic studs. If you do want to replace it then TLC sell a near identical one: https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Products/TPR28WPHF.html I would suggest you consider this LED fitting though...

    Old chestnut, shed electrics

Then he clearly isn't an electrician! Ask around your friends and family if they can recommend an electrician that they have used and who did a good job, do not use trade rating websites to find someone, get a few quotes for the work and go with the person you feel most comfortable with. Anyone...
