    LED light installation

Here we go... There is no reason not to do this if the circumstances make it a useful approach. The regulation book BS7671 specifically allows it. The only thing it to make sure it doesn't cause an issue later on and the best way, in my opinion, to do this is to stick a label on the socket...

Fused Spur / FCU with 26 amps?

I have also never seen shuttered sockets in Germany. The only thing I have seen is diy add-ons which stick to the back of the socket, requiring you to insert the plug at an angle, and then turn to find the holes. (I found this because it was stuck to a plug and not achieving its purpose.)

    Replacing old cabinet lighting

It's not the specific case, it's the general approach. You do not want to end up with unknown hazards inside your walls. For one thing (regulation-wise) they are not in safe zones.

    Replacing old cabinet lighting

In my opinion that's a good way to set the house on fire. I think you need to work out what is there first. You can't just decide that anything past that hole has nothing to do with you.

is MJ Electrical Training a credible company?

I don't know anything about them. But the review page link shows one example of 1 star, a couple of 3 star, and some 4 star. (from memory). They are not all on the first page you look at. The one star was something like: 'I took the test twice and failed both times.

Please pay attention. I did not call your post irreverent, but irrelevant. You seem to be losing your grasp on words.

    Faulty Electricity Meter?

As usual you are talking completely irrelevant nonsense. This has no significance in the context of this thread. You seem to be posting simply for self-aggrandisement. Please - just stop.

    Ceiling Light Blowing Bulbs

I have found that it is often caused by the spring contact for the middle connection being too slack. Bending it forward would be the cure. With the power off at the Consumer Unit of course.

    Garden Socket installation

In this case he seems to be comparing a book of regulations with statues, which seems to be so weird a concept as to make me wonder if he isn't losing it. Or lost it a long time ago. Oh well, if it gives him pleasure...
