    Wiring for EV charger

To overcome all these issues, couldn't you just put in a flexible conduit with pull-strings, so the correct wires can be pulled in when you are sure what they are?

    Abuse of language

I was rather surprised to learn last week that the french call such a word a possessive adjective (I 've always thought of it as a possessive pronoun - but when you think about it that is illogical).

    Abuse of language

I once wrote a program that converted any text file, in any world language, into a Gameboy cartridge book reader. During the development research I got fed up with seeing I18n, and yes, it is of course a major exception. You just reminded me with 'such as " Int'l " for "International".'

Warranty on Electrical works contracted to a builder

I think that people who encourage others to take legal action should first describe their own experiences in the field and what degree of success they had in each case and what the cost in money and time turned out to be.

UK Wind-Generated Electricity on a fairly windy night

I think the internet is full of dubious stories saying that most wind turbines have built in diesel generators so they can continue to make money even when the wind is not blowing. I believe the origin of this lie is that there are some wind turbines used by off-grid communities that do indeed...

    Dodgy Wiring

Obviously ownership of the fence is a crucial factor. Having said that, that wiring looks very vulnerable to accidental damage.

    RCD tripping in Consumer Unit

As has been mentioned many times before, a 30mA RCD is designed to a specification which says it must trip somewhere between 15mA and 30mA.

    13amp sockets on lighting circuits.

Well, some people will find fault with anything anyone else says or does. It so happens we wanted the freedom to plug in floor-standing lamps at flexible locations around the room, and use a single light switch to turn them all on at once when entering the room. We have not had cause to regret it.

    13amp sockets on lighting circuits.

You presumably meant the last phrase. I think I found the requirement a few days ago, but I have a migraine at the moment and can't go searching. I could of course be wrong, but I have to say that logically it's the minimum requirement to do this (or using you method which is equally satisfactory).

"Require"" (it was a typo). What you say is not relevant. A socket on a lighting circuit is permitted, if it makes design sense to do that, provided it is labeled.

The regulations required such sockets to be labeled. If you ignore the label you deserve what you get.
