    Bathroom and soil pipe.

No it didn't, which is what I'm worried about. There's not going to be one on it yet, but when we do the loft conversion in a couple of years time there will be. I'm thinking I just need to replace it otherwise it'll be in the back of my mind! Cheers

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Thanks hugh. I think I have a problem though! Where I've cut theropod pipe just after the man hole, I've just had a look down it, and where the clay has its first joint from the man hole, there's a slight lip. I've attached a pic, it's not overly clear but hopefully you can see. Am I better...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Thanks Hugh! I've managed to get around 55mm over 2.3m, which is just over half a bubble. Think I'm almost ready for my first BC inspection this week. I take it I need to bed the rest bend into pea shingle the same as the pipe itself? Got a bit more gap filling than I initially thought which...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Great. Well I've got the hole through and pipe in place, just having trouble working out what the fall is! Managed to cut the old pipe with an angle grinder in the end My only worry is that I've disturbed the first joint out of the manhole, and it has a slight wobble to it, but hoping it...

    Moving gas service.

That's a bugger then! My aim was to clean the hole wall up with nothing on it. Looks like I'll just have to tidy it up somehow, as currently has tape peeling off. Cheers.

    Moving gas service.

Hey guys. Liking at the below photo, does anyone know if I would be able to get it moved. I would like it to not come up the wall, and as I'm breaking in under ground for the drainage, I wonder if it would be possible to take the gas in through there too and bring it up inside? I've already...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

I've been wondering the same myself, and but glad you prod think the same! Just to keep the bco happy! Sounds good, I'll have a look to see how much room that will take up. Failing that, I've ordered some diamond bits for my Dremel, that should do it! Then I've got the close around the pipe...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Sounds like a plan to me! I uncovered the whole length yesterday, to check it was all sound. I'm going to make the joint just before the first clay joint. Not sure how I'm going to cut it with the other services in the way yet tho. Maybe a Dremel or die grinder. I've started knocking out...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

So things took a bit of a back step yet again but today I finally managed to get a bit of the drive dug up to find where the pipe goes. I actually pumped through it at one point as it is just below the concrete! Pics below. As you can see I've taken it right back to the man hole and figured...

    Better bathrooms showers valves...

That's the sort of answer I wanted, thanks. I was recommended them for the bath but was unsure about these. Thanks for the link, very helpful. Had a look at a couple, could do with something a bit shallower, but will look to see what they've got. What other brands are good to go with, and...

    Better bathrooms showers valves...

Hey guys. Im currently looking for a shower valve for our new bathroom and whilst ordering my bath I have come across the ones at better bathrooms. This is one of the ones we like: http://www.betterbathrooms.com/ecocube-concealed-triple-control-shower-valve-with-diverter/ Does anyone know...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Tbh I had a feeling that would be the best option, I was just hoping for an easier route if it was allowed. But If I've got to do some digging, then so be it if it means a proper job! This means I'm going to need to dig down both inside and out to get a long radius bend in, am I right I'm...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

So with this in mind, just done this quick drawing, which would run under the floor (200mm void) then tee into where in currently comes up from outside. As long as i've got the magic 450mm? Tbh this is pretty much what i had in mind except would have been above the floor. So i'm thinking i've...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Yes I do have wood floors with a little void, but then I think the T would be within 450mm of the bend to the drain. I'll have to have a measure up!

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

I was hoping to not dig any floors up, but if I need to then I will. If you look at the photo, top left hand corner where the gas pipe enters, is where I want/need the new soil pipe to run (inside) I could run it down and out, and pick up the pipe that is currently the gulley. That just means...

    Bathroom and soil pipe.

Sorry, yes that's not very clear, the bit between the toilet and the manhole would remain untouched apart from the existing vent to be cut and capped at ground level in some way. That's meant to look like it going away from you as you look at it, not uphill  Cheers
