Sorry, it's 13 rads in total, with four of those currently turned off. So it seems safe to say that the boiler is large enough for the house. Right now I can heat the house up better with the coal fireplace. I have a gas safe person coming out on Monday. Andy

When the thermostat read 18.5C the house felt cold. Now it reads 19C and the house feels warm. Seems the only conclusion is that the thermostat is faulty or in the wrong place. However it doesn't feel any colder stood next to it. Andy
