The plumb center trade fix are myson contract body's. The plumb center heads look better. I believe they are made by myson. I like them and fit them regularly, also come in trv and lockshield pack now
If you have an ideal response chances are it won't last long, not seen one for years, they became obsolete very quickly.
A decent cycle pump with gauge will do the job. Just make sure heating side has a drain off open when you pump the vessel up.
Is there a radiator symbol on the boiler display when the stat is calling for heat? It's likely the reciever is not sending power back to the boiler, you can check s codes to confirm or use a multimeter on reciever
I would add that to change it, it's easier with the burner section removed so a new seal kit would be needed aswell even so 250 is expensive if that's all he's doin.
You guys must be unlucky, I swap the o rings regularly on these for a drip in that location,
2 screws and thats it.
There is actually 3 or 4 o rings (dependant on age) as the connection from block is on a barrel nipple that pulls out.
