I would like to inform you that I have succeeded to resolve the problem without replacing the bearings. I removed the motor off the machine. Squirt the lubricant into the bearing left it overnight, checked in the morning and surprised to see that the spindle spun freely both sides for long time...

I managed to ease the motor after spraying Gas Plus lubricant on its bearing on both sides. It started running but after about 5 minutes it has jammed again. It eases a bit for a short while. I think either both or one of the bearing is defective.

Shall I start dismantling the motor or can it be lubricated without taking it out?

Yes I have tried to spin the rotor but failed to turn it around from both sides with the belt off the pulley.

No, I think my description of the wiring was not clear. I meant Pin 3 of Relay 1 ON in activated position turning Pin 2 OFF. There is a new discovery/development: I tried to turn the motor manually by turning the fan impeller and was unable to turn it around. It seems stuck. It does not move...

There are 3 wires from motor Orange, Black and Yellow. Orange from motor to Cap and from Cap to pin 2 (switch ON position without supply to the coil) of Relay 1, Black from motor to Cap and from Cap to pin 3 (switch ON position with supply to the coil) of relay 1, and Yellow to Mains Neutral...

I have checked the third relay whilst it is connected on the pcb. It activated with the voltage application. I have resoldered the two relays after testing. Tested after soldering on the board. The first relay activates and the second i.e. the middle one does not activate. The third one...

Thank you for your appreciable interest and help so far. I have managed to test the two relays removed from the board. Both of them have activated with application of 18v and proven ok! Do I need to test the third relay now?

Sorry, I do not have any source of higher dc voltage

    Creda T632CW Dryer

Yes You are right. I have tried 9v but it has not activated the switch i.e. the pin 1 & 3 remained open circuit. Would you please suggest an alternative means of higher dc voltage.

May I test function of a relay by applying a dc voltage to coil terminals (using a PP3 9v battery) and simultaneously test the continuity between terminal 1 & 3 of the switch which were open circuit without application of the dc voltage.

Would you please explain the test procedure in detail. Do I need to test voltage across the coil terminals with a meter and it should indicate as negative reading.

I have de-soldered both of the RT114024 Relays. Both of the relays have 5 pins. i.e. 2 for coil and other 3 are a single pole switch. The third relay,I have not removed it yet has 8 pins. It has 6 pins for a double pole switch. I have tested both of the removed relays with a meter as...

Yes you are right. There are 3 relays (brown). Two of the relays are the same, described as RT114024 and the third one is RT314024. The black cable from one of the terminals of first relay goes to one of the terminal of the motor capacitor and simultaneously to the black wire of the motor...

Yes you are right, the relays are on the PCB and there is no separate relay behind the timer. There are 4 relays on the board. 1 blue and 3 brown. Which one do you think requires replacing? Are these relays readily available?

Thank you for posting the link which illustrates the PCB I have mentioned earlier where a click is heard before commencement of humming noise. Yes this PCB is mounted at top right hand side behind the timer of the appliance. Did you mean the the blue coloured relay on this board. In the case...
