No need to worry now. After careful removal of the motor and then upon close inspection, it became clear it was the brushes that had worn down. Replacements now in and with the motor refitted everything works fine. Lets hope its runs just as smooth for the next four years! :D

I have a problem :cry: with my Bosch Exxcel 1400S washing machine, which no longer spins, everything else seems to work OK. Can anyone guide me on how to fix. :)
