Just fitted a new door switch to my machine because I blew the other up but my machine is not locking. Is there something I need to reset? Power is fine but no programs will run coz door not locked. Checked wiring that seems ok. I just want to drag it in to my back garden and torch it...

please help.. my hotpoint stopped half way through a program with the wash light & rinse/spin light on. then the door lock light started flashing. I have checked the pump, the drain pipe. I think personally that its the door lock switch. Has any one come across this before? Also would someone...
