Can these pipes be moved back?

Please don't use the term 'heating engineer' when referring to the rough a s s cowboy you were unlucky enough to cross paths with. He brings our trade into disrepute..

Can these pipes be moved back?

Besides, regs say you're supposed to seal the inside with a non setting mastic. Not empty a tube of silicone everywhere outside!! The guy who fitted it is a cowboy, end of.

I Had a guy work for me, told me he was qualified. On the very first day, the way he soldered, I had to ask where he'd studied. Yup 6 week course! Only positive I can see is, give it 5 years and we'll be taking our pick of which ba lls up to rip out and sort first :D

System not fitted with any zoning valves please help

  Bloody hell I'd be getting him back, solid fuel sealed is a big no! If it were me, Id have flow and return from stove to store, open vent from store to F&E tank. Then a flow out of the thermal store with a pump, after pump 2/3 zone valves 1/2 for rads (2if you want to zone...

System not fitted with any zoning valves please help

To me that system is completely wrong, the boiler should be feeding the accumulator, its solid fuel so should be gravity fed I'd say. Then from the accumulator to the h/w cylinder and the rads. These would be pumped, and controlled by zone vales. Solid fuel cant be controlled very well so...

I charge hundreds a day now for my skill, and people are happy. Been in business a while, long enough to smell an...

£140 a day in London, must be a cash 'hobble' as we say in Wales. I live in quite a poor area an I charge more than that.... As a confirmation that cheap isn't always best, I had some of my work given away in November as the customer didn't have the patience to wait for me, so I ended up...
