    Yes, earth's are all in too. That's a good shout, I will double check the other end. I've read one few threads about some types of circuits not being suitable for spurs, but not really sure what they mean, or how to check if it's suitable or not

    The faults show up on a £30 plug in socket tester i got from screwfix. Yes, all works when I take the spur out. I added the live and neutral of the spur, to the live and neutral in the original socket. In the original, there was 2 lives together, there is now 3 in total with the one I've...
