    Condensation Mold or water leak in roof or?

    This is the bedroom ceiling, I must admit the upstairs windows do get full of condensation often and lately. Is this ceiling stain it from a leak through loft? I've had a look with a torch and doesn't look like there's any big holes in roof. Oh yeah no one in the house smokes

    But when i turn the taps on to e.g. have a bath or do the dishes in the kitchen sink, the hot water would be flowing around wouldn't it?

    What about if i get my immersion tank/heater working again? Wouldn't the hot water supply through the pipes prevent ice from building up?

    I live in a mid -70s built Barett house on an estate. The main pipe is in the cupboard by the front door. The water doesn't come out of taps some cold winters usually after a couple of days of below zero temperatures. That is a main water-supply problem isn't it or maybe becuse the house is...

    I don't have a Boiler, is this why my pipes sometimes freeze up in Winter? If i did have a boiler with radiators would this stop freezing in the pipes because warm water is flowing around the pipes?

    Yesterday for the first time in all this, miles away from home, I couldn't lock the car remotely. I concluded that it must therefore be the dying battery in the key-fob. If you're in the UK you could go to Timpson as they sell and fit new batteries but you need to know which battery your keys use

    But it never happened before and I keep the keys in the same place even during sub zero Winter temperatures so no as Tigercurbrider said i think it's a neighbour's powerful wifi inteference.

    Car- keys remote doesn't work in my driveway but does everywhere else!!?? When i've been out driving and i pull in to my driveway i can lock it via remote but when i go out in morning i can't get the doors open by remote. I don't get it. Any ideas why?

    Recommendations for inuslating water pipes

    Anyone got any tips on keeping water pipes insulated with from the freezing cold weather? What sort of foam? Best way to keep the foam-insulation attached? I've had frozen pipes a few years back when temperature went under zero Celsius.

    it's top hung so it's now lowered and the mushrooms are now catching like in the Youtube video I posted.

    Thanks, I'm assuming if the pins are catching i..e like the window has been lowered then I need to loosen the screws , push the window up and tighten? My other question is won't it just naturally adjust when the extreme hot weather goes?
