Most of my immigrant friends (including the wife) think that enough is enough now. They consider themselves almost British and 100% part of society. Even they can see that letting more in will strain our infrastructure to breaking point.

Hardly, I'm married to one, next door neighbors are foreign, best mate is married to a Bulgarian and I have many Turkish & Kurdish friends. As I said, just wondering why you are so on the defensive all the time when the subject of immigrants comes up?

I don't think it's fear of anything as such. Just a realistic concern - and yes, many do want to specifically come to the UK. Calais?

It's nothing to do with fear of foreigners John. I dare say that most people on here have many foreign friends. It's... A. The conduct and behaviour of many of these people in the country that allowed them in and showed the hand of friendship. B. In some countries, the infrastructure is strained...

Once it's back on, all the evaporator plates should get a hard frost on them over the entire surface. If they only partly frost over then the system is short of refrigerant and doubt it would be worth repairing. Could also be the compressor not pumping properly with worn suction or discharge...
