    I'd think it's come away from the bedding.. I used pva in the mix when I laid slate paving in a wet mortar Hopefully it's just a bit of poor bonding so a re-bed should sort them.

    Get some araldite type epoxy, so you can mix it, then add some fine sand or grit similar colour to slab. Even crush some stone into fine dust. Apply and that's about it really. Its a bodge but will work. Or just use as is with no sand

    You can try an epoxy resin, but its a unstable surface so anything you try will be temporary

    Probably not, i came across this many times in my professional paving career. Plastic shed on this will not work if its one of these thati put up at work. The base needs to be perfect to build it.

    You can use longer concrete slotted posts 10 ft and concrete graval (boards) to make up the soil deapth. Be a sight easier too and cheeper, neater

    From a contractor point of view, i hate the fekin stuff. Trying to get it off when repairing and relaying is a pita. That said go for a low shine or matt look, gloss just looks like shiny concrete to me

    Aggregate changes from area to area. It does sound like they sent a ballast or a topping off blinding type small grade hardcore by mistake

    Slate comes in bulk bags. So shop around ,its about £80 a bag from a good local independent. Somewhere like wicks B&Q will be £120 give or take. You will need 2 bags to do 16 m2. Sheet with "Typar pro" or similar to stop rooting weeds 30-50 quid Diy and save a fortune,its quite easy. Oh and...
