    I think it is the thicker 4mm wire. If it is Radial Possibly the faulty toaster/ shock I got from it did something to the socket. Which is why every socket after the toaster immediately stopped working the moment I got shocked. And why all the sockets before it are still working fine...

    Also haven't found any fuses connectors in the kitchen cupboards. Also there isn't a kitchen consumer unit.

    Just skimming over posts. The builder wired the kitchen when it was getting renovated about 15 years ago, so ithe kitchen was s done all at the same time.

    On can only see 1 a wire going to the left that goes into the working socket. Anything else will be behind the wall. I'm assuming it's connecting to the the non working socket to the right also.

    This turns off nearly all the sockets in the house. Kitchen, living room, upstairs sockets. The MCB one the right of the consumer unit that's "on" , only seems to affect a single socket that's located in the living room.

    I've had a really good look... This is what I see. The circled sockets aren't getting power. Sockets circled are NOT working. Here is behind the kitchen cupboards and I can physically see the wires. This is exactly how it's wired , the wire goes directly from the working socket...

    I followed the wires. There is a socket directly to left of that fuse box that is working. There is a wire from the working socket (on the left ) directly goes into that fuze box, then a wire comes out the fuse box and goes directly to the toaster socket that isn't working, also any...

    Boiler. There is a fuze box in there linking the sockets. Anything after this fuze box doesn't work. So I'm assuming when I got the shock I blew the fuse. I'll just need to replace it in the morning?

    Ive just turned off the downstairs sockets at the consumer unit. There is one socket in the living room that's connected to the upstairs sockets. So I've run a long extension lead to the fridge and it's now being powered by that socket. So no power to the kitchen or the rest of downstairs...
