    Scrapping Human Rights

A con in the sense the US spent 40 billion dollars remediating the “problem” while countries that invested little to nothing had few issues.

New extension to an existing old extension without paperwork

Existing extensions are generally taken into account when calculating the total of allowance. The ldc will be for the existing unauthorised extension which cannot br enforced against as it was built more than four years ago. So its step 1.

    Scrapping Human Rights

Y2K seemed an obvious con at the time. Nobody is aged one on the day they are bor. Indian tech skills are superb, it’s why Musck wants them.

    Finally, a grown-up government.

It makes no sense to have a referendum on a frictionless trade deal alone. The economic disaster of Brexhit justifies a new vote on the principle of rejoining at an appropriate time.

    Finally, a grown-up government.

There was no referendum on the deal, so everything is up for grabs

    Scrapping Human Rights

The brexhit argument was based on skills not culture or nationality. Over 2 million east Europeans in less than a decade? A big infrastructure project near us has about 30 per cent Indisn nationals working and accommodated on site. A direct result of the the drying up of post Brexhit freedom...

    Scrapping Human Rights

Its an influx but not a mass influx in the context of millions of east european migrants who were allowed to stay after brexhit. There are 8 million people of Irish descent here - shall we send them all back?

    Scrapping Human Rights

People I would regard as left of center are coming to the conclusion that there is a problem with serious offenders and asylum. It’s not a new issue but when the main stream media focus on these headlines people think it’s a bigger problem than home grown crime.

    Scrapping Human Rights

They are much more sensitive to suspects rights than they used to be, but they’re also much more streetwise in terms of how they “get round” them .

    Scrapping Human Rights

Lol, amending human rights rules wont give you any more rights to be rascist than you have now. A cynical move indeed, but the reality will be different from the headlines because human rights exist under international law. That take back control brexhit vote was wasted, and succeeded only in...

Reform supporters voting against their best interests

The right wing of the forum can sometimes seem to morph into a blob, like a meeting of the invasion of the body snatchers

    Privatisation of Water

It’s a wonderful windfall for the people who see TW as a debt cow to be milked, knowing that politicians won’t let it go bust. More government bonds issued, the interest needs paying off, taxes rise. What’s not to like. It seems they are or have been involved in Southern Water snd TWA...

    Rayner. Wow, what a surprise.

The story broke a few years ago, and has been revived because some of those involved have agreed to go public at risk to themselves and their families. The story won’t go away and Nige is deploying his considerable PR skills to try to kill it. If you’re the young boy that had those vile words...

Lauda coming back to race in the same season half his face was burnt off seems unbelievable now.

    Another eBay scammer

No he didn’t admit it, I had a positive record with eBay and that probably helped. Who knows if he had tried it before. He turned up in a Lexus and was well to do, having driven 150 miles to collect. I know from others that late posting of an item can have an immediate negative impact, it can...

    Another eBay scammer

I sold a used leccy lawn mower, and eBay ruled in my favour when the purchaser claimed it didn’t work. It was a collection in person and the buyer declined an offer to fire it up, so that probably helped. £8 builds up if you regularly scam people.
