Any new build or extension should have at least one hard wired smoke alarm fitted, I think from 1992 . we had to fit wired ones in our extension part of building regs control. I only suggested fitting all wired alarms as they are linked and to each other and can give a better warning to people...

Yes new build or extensions must have hardwired linked smoke alarms with battery back up fitted/ heat alarms. change them all to hardwired linked while you are at it

Find the fuse or link that when pulled stops the hum that fuse or link will be labelled that will then confirm if it is the fuel pump running all the time. sorry not much more to offer

you will need to unplug it to confirm looking on google there are a few different type of looking relays hard to conform some relays are in the under bonnet fuse box, so you will need to unplug to confirm

Could be some show it as a normally 5 relay its can take 35amp so a biggie need to unplug it to confirm hum stops but that must be fused some where under bonnet fuse box or in car fuse box

Have a go if some thing is still energised it must have a feed to it so remove fuse by fuse may help narrow it down, have you got heated mirrors are they hot , had many a relay for them stuck closed . Good luck

If your saying new battery fitted but still have to jump start it ,it will not be your fuel pump relay causing that problem. How long does the hum last for when engine turned of ? when turning engine of ecu does reset some things for next start ,so that hum could be just that. Also check all...

Try an oil change on the auto box. Some faults are oil pressure related ,others are solenoid faults. Oil change far the cheapest to try first. Good luck

Try using this https://www.screwfix.com/p/snap-off-knives-2-piece-set/8104v extend the blade a lot and try and get it between the sink and wall cutting away as much silicone as possible . BEVERY CAREFULLY the blades do/ can snap where eye protection picture of knife top left(bad link)

you can buy a simple oil suction pump that works through dipstick. used many times . look at motor factory shops loads about.

I am pretty sure that they have a throttle pedal switch (just under the throttle pedal ) check that and also connections on body on throttle and pedal switch

You could re-wire leaving old wiring in place .
