Immersion troubleshooting - is there anything else I can test

    c. 20 ohms resistance is the correct reading for a healthy immersion element.

    Replacing Flush

Yes, unless the body of the flush unscrews for maintaince/replacement. Well worth trying 1/8th of a turn anticlockwise to release from bottom cradle. Saves the hassle of getting joints leak-free on reassembly. (the seal between pan and cistern especially)

Combi boiler pressure still going up after adding new expansion vessel

^^ +1 Ludicrous Fair chance that repressurising the old EV would been all that was needed.

    Undoing philmac

IIRC these Philmacs have a "grab" ring that digs into the pipe. Whatever you do don't push this ring further onto the MDPE -it's one way only!

Can I trim a Thomas Dudley basin seal kit (Ed.)

One of these https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-s12a-f-1-1-4-bsp-eu-uk-coupler-white-32mm-x-32mm/4483v may help. Upper female thread is shorter than male.

Sink waste help for a big old armitage shanks porcelain sink

Your chances are slim to non-existant IMO. Such a ?laundry sink would have come with a custom made waste/overflow fitting without which you are snookered. Repurpose as planter? Or get very creative with a 3D printer!

    Twin Flue System Boiler

Kestons today are rebadged Ideals and IMO decent boilers, unlike the old K's. I believe Baxi and Intergas offer twin flue options.

Hard to judge from photo, but I also wondered three apes.

    Condensing boiler flue dripping internally

Yes, but I think the issue here is the way the terminal is designed to slot over the flashing. The adjacent vent with the same flashing is 110mm soil, OD white is 100mm, perhaps a slightly loose fit? And no "collar" to shed water off the joint. All assuming, of course, that the OP confirms...

    Condensing boiler flue dripping internally

1 No white should be showing outside. Vertical flue needs shortening. RGI job. 2 Generic flashing used. Would have been better to have used the Vaillant pitched roof "pantile" flashing - the bottom of the black section of the flue overlaps an upward lip on the pantile to make a weatherproof...

    Why ribbed valve washers?

Ribbed rubber products as advertised on certain "niche" websites are circumspect as to which way round they should be worn. If any female readers of these pages would like to offer their opinions on this issue I'd be grateful.

Worcester Bosch 6 Bar PRV Replacemenet

Would this be a 6 bar PRV within the boiler casing or one adjacent to an unvented cylinder in the airing cupboard?

    Air Admittance Valve Issue

Looks to me like the AAV is of the type sized to fit into plain pipe not a (wider) socket.

    Measuring gas pressure under load

He can, but it won't tell you anything useful. The issue is the pressure drop when both appliances -existing and proposed- are running at full chat.

Well expressed. My opinion exactly. Well, almost exactly, I tend to use expletives when such devices are mentioned.

Incorrect wiring? Hot water temperature ignored.

On the 4xx series the HW dial on the boiler fascia has no function except when certain Vaillant proprietary external controls are used.

    SIPHON TOILET DIAPHRAGM

You don't need to. You buy rectangular or circular for a pound or two for a pack of five and trim them with scissors (if neccessary) using the old washer as template.
