    Legit MS Office?

Seems too cheap to be legit. I just need the outlook classic. Anyone has experience of buying from this site generally? https://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/get-software-deals-ltd-5-london

    Painting wall, rainbow brush strokes

OK, found my set up: 4 inch brush, bucket, and water. Normal sized bucket helped with quick paint mixing with water using large brush to get the right consistency. I was already using water with interior wood paint. But, I didn't make the connection between water and wall paint until this...

    Painting wall, rainbow brush strokes

Cutting in on the edges is a given. I would do that even if I brush it. Is there absolutely no hope for using a brush? One of the commenters for the above video said he did a big job for a hospital. He rolled on the paint, then brushed it. Why would some jobs demand brushing? The radiators have...

    Painting wall, rainbow brush strokes

I need to paint walls and came across this video where the guy is using rainbow brush strokes. Can anyone explain why? I painted walls in the past using vertical brush strokes and the result wasn't satisfactory. Although at the time I knew nothing about maintaining a wet edge. With the summer...

As a DIY pro meter reader, my advice to you is don't read a meter that doesn't need reading.

You started without a problem. Then you created the problem. The logical thing to do is to un-create the problem if you don't want the problem. Can't help you beyond on that because I don't have a similar problem nor the prospect of getting a similar problem. If you have a meter that confuses...

I read NORMAL reading, I read LOW reading, then I enter on the internet. You seem to think meter reading is rocket science.

Have to disagree. Since I am my own meter reader, my skills are right up there with them.

Struggling to paint a long MDF threshold

10 year oil paints have excellent self leveling ability that give a smooth finish. But the cure time could be a year before you can sand out any imperfections and paint again. Oil paints will yellow if not exterior. For door steps, there are special tough door step paints.

That's because we are in different locations. I did a quick calc. E7 is likely cheaper for me. There is only 1p difference between peak E7 and standard CAP. E7 brings in savings for 7 hours and cheaper standing charge.

So, I am paying above the CAP? The bill that I never look at says I am on E7:

How much is this more expensive peak rate than peak rate?

Off peak rate electricity is not used during the other 17 hours. Peak rate is used during the other 17 hours.

If off peak means E7 then I am using E7 for lights, computer, fridge, etc. I don't use electricity for hot water tank because google says: AI Overview Generally, gas for hot water is cheaper than Economy 7 electricity, especially with the current energy price cap. While Economy 7 offers...

I don't have time for tracking. Also, if the price goes up and down then it's like playing casino with the bills. You could be hit with a big one when you least expect it. I don't use electricity for water heating. The off peak meter count ticks over anyway. That means the off peak applies to...

I use electricity 24 hours a day. The off peak is not just for the water (storage?) heater. The heater will only be needed if gas fails once every 25 years.
