The amazon comments section wasn't all that positive. A stretchy oil based paint might work better. This one is water based: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/267122005182

Photo evidence shows china product is superior. Also their stuff is FREE! Not buying china was my problem. With china bulbs, there would be no advisories. Hence I am looking for a branded part matching the chinese performance. Bosch is not up to it. At least from some product photos, lucas...

You would be modding a regulated part. If you don't declare, your claim is declined.

This man has the right answer ^^^. The probability of them checking is low if the claim is cheap. If the the accident is with an expensive third party car, then they will be searching for non-compliance with a fine comb.

It can be arranged. It's all fun and games until you get a decline.

I reckon you should care. Non-e-marked are not legal.

The micra gets excessively frequent MOT advisories on the rear indicator lights fading in colour. This problem is partly an entrapment by the car manufacturer. The housing plastic for the indicator is white. Hence any light coming through is whitened. I am unconvinced they have done the plastic...

The micra just passed MOT with no report of hole in fuel tank. The trollers were wrong.

Failing putty (new shed window) (Ed.)

No paint can work on wetted/moulded substrate. If wet, paint will fail. If drying from wet, paint will fail. If mould growing on the paint or under the paint, it will fail. Mould growing under glass indicates ineffective putty seal. I presume you are using putty because the trade advises it...

    LG Plasma TV broken

Having it doesn't mean you have to use it. It's a freeview TV for watching BBC1 eastenders, or something.

It does now, with the china box. It's working better than planned. Power on and watch. Both TV and box can tolerate external power control and continue where they left off. Gained the ability to play from USB and record to USB. Didn't gain play from youtube because the supplied wifi dongle...

OK. I like the devil I know. It was good for 20 years. Should be good for another 20.

How would you know how the china box works? I will get it and see. Possibly you are not used to advanced TVs. For this unit, after power on, it goes straight to the last selected input. Everything will be controlled by a power remote. In the worst case, power remote on, then china remote choose...

    LG Plasma TV broken

Sorted. The tunner in the TV was incompatible with the current freeview signal. Same for an old currys freeview box that was working last year. I was unable to find info on this issue. It seems the people behind the signal don't care and those with old stuff should just f-off. The TV works fine...

WTF. If it needs a discussion thread, then it is too complicated for the intended user.

    LG Plasma TV broken

Worth it for the full cinema experience, though. I have never found LCD picture quality satisfactory - motion blurs, move head slightly and poor view angle issues show up. Also, a pensioner needs more warmth. So, nothing is going to waste. The max savings that could be accomplished with a new TV...

    LG Plasma TV broken

Even a pensioner can afford £1 a day. Is a plasma TV expensive to run? However, if you have a plasma TV, which averages around 350 watts, it consumes 0.35 kWh per hour. Therefore, if it's turned on for 8 hours a day, it will cost about 62.6p per day or about 7.8p per hour.
