You could try putting on a sacrificial first coat of bin , let that harden off and bind the surface.....then sand off lightly Then proceed with bin x 2 etc etc You will probably get a better finish that way

OK well berger is good paint ....if you are going to use a gloss non drip .....same sort of thickness and consistency as one coat gloss but easy to apply then I would get a leyland trade undercoat ....oil based .....then your gloss It should be fine

No , once is not going to give you a good finish Once , solo , self undercoating gloss , etc .....are a bit of a con trick in my opinion Even if these paints are ever used its always good practice to undercoat first But I wouldn't use them , follow the sort of advice on here
