Im sorry to be a bit daft but do you mean by stud work to make an other frame 9inches wide or should I use 2 pieces of 4and a half timber and rawbolt them to the wall :?:
I am putting a new frame in an archway that is 9inches wider than the frame how do I pack this out I am putting the hinge side up tight to the wall so the 9inch gap will be on the closing side HELP
