When you turn the heat control up you can hear a noise, apart from that nothing, the boiler lockout light isnt illuminated.

I have a floor mounted free standing boiler with a Potterton mini minder programmer. The progranmmer has 2 sliders and neon indicators. The top neon is clicking on and off and the boiler is unable to fire up. Would appreciate any ideas.
