    Water bath thingy in loft?

It's about half full, the water around 12-15 cm in depth. My hot water wasn't on at the time I took the pics, but the hot water works fine when I do switch it on; the boiler in the kitchen kicking into action. I don't use my central heating system - EVER! The hot water cylinder (tank?) is...

    Toilet overflow downpipe drip leak.

Yeah, thanks. Was a little surprised that no one gave a link for the part on this forum.

    Toilet overflow downpipe drip leak.

Adjusting the screw on float valve/cistern was the first thing I did back when I first discovered the problem, otherwise it wouldn't have stopped dripping! Don't have water meter where I live. Though what I've learned from this is there is no harm in checking the toilet water tanks every once...

    Toilet overflow downpipe drip leak.

In my downstairs w/c I've noticed a patch of wetness. Having investigated the problem, it's only when the tank overflows, the water flowing into the exit downpipe (from inside the tank) causes the drip to occur - I think? I would like to fix this of course. You can see a drip forming...

How do I clean feeder pipe to hot water tap?

Running the other hot taps does not affect the flowrate of the hot bath tap. BUT, my bath taps are 1/2", I'm thinking now they should be 3/4"? Is this the problem?

How do I clean feeder pipe to hot water tap?

Yes, bought brand new this morning. When I turn, to open tap, there is a tiny trickle at first. Isn't there a possibility it's residue in pipes? Isn't there some sort of rods, cleaning utencil, that can be pushed down into the pipe to help scrape and gather gunge?

How do I clean feeder pipe to hot water tap?

There is a cold water tank in loft with a valve/pipe that leads to a hot water tank in cupboard in upper floor of house. There are no flexi hoses anywhere in the pipe run.

How do I clean feeder pipe to hot water tap?

I live in Glasgow. I replaced the hot water tap this morning. I need to rotate the tap almost a full turn to get any useful water flow. The picture shows the hot water tap, fully open, one and a half turns. The hot water flow is better from the other hot water taps in house.

How do I clean feeder pipe to hot water tap?

My hot water bath tap's pressure has gradually reduced over the years. It now takes 15 minutes to run a both. I'd like to clean the hot water feeder pipe of any gunge in the hope of increasing the pressure again. I can switch off the hot water supply and have replaced the hot water tap no...

    Internal screw thread BNC connector?

Hi, I'm trying to procure a BNC type connector as held between fingers in the picture below: It has an internal screw thread, which you screw tight into the GM tube socket, using the finger tightening fastener, on the outside of the connector. I'm not even sure which one to call male or...

Can't unscrew butterfly bolt in toilet.

Got it all fixed. Took a lot longer and was more effort than expected. The winged nut came loose with a "winged nut socket" and torque wrench, so thanks to Motman for recommending that. After 2 hours of effort the syphon was replaced, and the flush now noticeably stronger - very satisfying.:)...
