Hi Holty, Checked oil pump pressures and they were fine, changed the nozzle and there was a good spark between the electrodes. When it doesnt want to run it basically seems like teh motor is struggling to turn. Im thinking the moto capacitor but im not sure!! Grill

Excuse my ignorance but why exactly do you pour water down the flue?? Is it to clean out the burner/HE? Where do you access the flue to get the water down it?? Never heard of this so very curious as to what you have to do. G

Oh they are. They give loads of ignition problems and have an aluminium HE so the condensatr trap gets blocked all teh time. Will do a gas rate check. G

Mornin, Where do you check the burner pressure on a Baxi Barcelona?? It says in the manual NOT to check it at the gas valve. Also can you tell me what resistance i should expect at the gas valve. Going round to one and the flame picture looks a little orange so want to check it out...

So i think we have some progress guys, Got back round there tonight and pulled off teh panels. Pressure was sitting at zero!!! Looked down in the bottom right corner and we had an orange glow. LP Switch!!! Boosted the pressure back up 1.6, no range glow, CH working fine, DHW working fine on...
