As long as the render is dry it will be fine..but i would only thin the first coat..keep the next two coats as they are in the tin..the thicker the paint the more protection. A lot of the paint on rendering peels because people mistakenly think you have to give it a coat of stabilising...

Radiator paint normally comes in a wide choice of colours white.....or white! You dont really need a specific paint though...just stick to oil based gloss, satin, or eggshell finishes They can all normally be mixed to match wall colours.
