An insulation expert will no doubt be along soon but I would stick on the pipe foam surrounds, then top up the loft insulation. The foam tubes for a small property won't cost much but will give extra peace of mind.

Think it's more involved than that but try no. three and see what happens. Were they hot before? Is the pump like for like? Do the rads need bleeding/balancing? Boiler temp, etc...

Bit harsh! Tony didn't have to reply and obvs wasn't on site and obvs bloke who enployed plumber doesn't know much about plumbing, so that makes it a fair question, surely?
