I need to replace a M6 Type 1 MCB, 16A, as the current one has gone over sensitive. Are there modern alternatives that replace it or does it mean a whole new, expensive, consumer box ?

True.... but the door edge was so badly cut originally and the, straight, marked cut line I made the edge of the door look like a wavy line. Thanks Sammy I was looking at the Bosch PST 700 E as I like Bosch tools. But I will check out the Makita cordless.

Just used a Performance 750W jigsaw at a friends and I was very impressed by how solid it was and the variable speed and pendulum feature. It cut beautifully and took the bottom off a wooden door so I could plane the final bit. I would point out that someone had butchered the door previously...

I need to replace the door handles on my uvpc door but can't find any with the latch knob on. Screw distance is 215 mm and can I replace with a standard set of handles and forget about the little latch knob thingy above the handle ? Any help appreciated

I would have said him.... unless he says the risk is yours and you accept it. Not taking sides but make sure both sides clearly understand any risks and consequences. And line up a potentially new toilet :)

I work for a company that has a large sister operation in Germany and whilst there is a move there for non diesel after years of doing the opposite. Its nowhere near as frantic. Partly due to the power of BMW and VW I suspect but, and this is very anecdotal, people don't seem inclined to fiddle...
