    DIY fit of Burglar alarm.

Did that cost much. How did you go about it and does an approved firm have to maintain the systemafter approval. Reason I ask is if I installed the alarm system say in a new build along with the electric installation could I then get it approved by NACOSS and handed over to an approved firm for...

Bought most of them from Moreton who are very good. Put one in my own house 4 years ago and...

    DIY fit of Burglar alarm.

Don't mean to but in but as far as I know you can't get a system hooked up to one of these alarm control centrers unless the installer is NACOSS approved. All modern alarm panels have the facility to hook up to a dialer but the approval bit kinda cuts out the diy guy :( I'm sure I'll be...

As I said in my original post V Drop, length of cable runs, bonding was only done in the hot press you did'nt have to assume someone was going to stick in a couple of 500 watt lights after you finished the job and if my memory brain cells have'nt been damaged by to much alcohol over the years...

Hi all Just joined up and am seeking some advise on the Reg's. When I was doing my City-Guilds I done the IEE 15th edition and spent 2 years at college doing it whilst on day release. A few years after finishing my App I give up the tools "got fed up with some lousy employers and working on...
