Gas main pipe in ceiling void

What attracts you to fabricating stories on a forum and creating multiple identities to debate the invented subjects with yourself?

Gas main pipe in ceiling void

You can't 'appear' on a forum. And you refer to me as a idiot. Now go back to fantasising over your gas pipe.

Gas main pipe in ceiling void

There is no gas pipe, void or flat. It's yet another figment of Drivel's disturbing imagination.

Would you expect plumber to use push-fit for rad install?

Sooey is correct about the isolator. They're meant for H&C water services and are not fit for primary CH circuits. As for the push fits, they work, probably give no trouble but the job looks DIY. You could've done it yourself.

It is covered in ADJ of Building Regulations though J only applies to us and Wales. But then you lot have the 6 Nations trophy as consolation.

What would be a fair price?

You'll notice a leaking roof. However the boiler with undersized gas supply may go on for years, even without a service, the customer happy, they get heat and hot water. When it breaks down the engineer that diligently points out the fault will be the one the user questions.

How much will what cost? This isn't a clairvoyant's forum.

    HETAS am I liable?

You've stated that you never called the flue fitter back and installed the appliance yourself. So how can any problems be the responsibility of anyone else?

    One pipe system

The assumptions result from decades of experience handling such enquiries and borne out by your comment about not having 2K to spare. Hence my advice. Don't do a part job, leave your working system alone. You can put it towards carpet.

    One pipe system

From my experience you seem like someone who places your heating and hot water comfort well down the pecking order. At least in terms of budget that is. The advice I usually give is to leave everything as it is. That way you save yourself money and some poor s*d the grief of miracle expectations...

DIY Power flushing - Dirty water pump

So what great invention do you envisage resulting from using a builder's/gardener's sump pump as a powerflushing machine? What you can be sure of, is that any idea the OP has will not be intended for the betterment of mankind.
