    Should radiator pipes be chased

It would never occur to me to chase pipe unless specifically requested by the customer. Pipes straight up into the radiator from the floor is standard. The ones with the hidden pipes are normally new build with pipe drops hidden behind the plasterboard.

Installing a pipe for an LPG hob

The best way is to get a registered gas installer in to advise on cylinder positions etc. They would probably be able to do most of the work before the kitchen is fitted.

CW tank in airing cupboard - neg or pos shower pump?

It's the position of the outlet in relation to the head of water that matters. You need a negative head pump and yes it can go below the cylinder.

Replacing water supply pipe, will it help pressure?

Replacing the pipe won't make any difference to the pressure but it may improve the flow. This work is notifiable under the water regulations unless completed by a water industry approved plumber.

Drain heating - keep hot water

No, the boiler should not be used whilst the heating circuit is drained down. If it's going to be some time you could temporarliy put a large loop of pipe between the flow and return connections.

    Installing acrylic bath securely

I always fix battens to 3 sides at the correct height and gripfill the bath down to them. That leaves the bath nice and level and I then just adjust the legs down so that they touch the floor and screw them down. I throw the 2 silly little brackets away.
