Hi, Sorry to bother you again, I have never had an electrical certificate either, and have had problems with the consumer box. Where one of the earth wires touched live where the earth wire was not sleeved. The landlord sent an electricain friend round who just bunched the wires up into one...

Hi, No, I asked for it as the bloke done the gas checks just after fixing the boiler but the engineer said that it is not valid till the landlord signs it. That was last week. Taara :wink:

Hi, Unfortunatley because I private rent, its not down to me. The landlord kept sending his mate round to keep the costs down as he has lots of other work to do the property. I had to get enviromental health involved as he thought it was ok to leave us without heating for 129 days, they got him...
