Swap the trap with one that has an air admittance valve. This should cure your probmem.

Did you vent the pump when you re-filled the system. If not, with the heating system off, open the screw in the center of the pump until you get water

On the flow pipe that goes into the cylinder. You should see 2 pipes one about 12 inches above the other to the side of the cylinder. There should be an air vent on the top pipe. It may need a radiator key or it may be just a thumb screw.

Take the silver flexible hose off at the shower valve end, turn the shower on and see if you get flow.

Did you vent the cylinder coil?
