    Neighbour's waste coming my way

It's not normal practice to run a camera down the toilet bowl as the camera will scratch the pan, also the skids on a decent camera won't fit round the u bend. Most people will remove the toilet & camera down the stack, if there are no access points. Yes Dynorod have all the gear. Very...

    what could we tax next

If they legalised Cannabis they could tax that! It's no more harmful than Alcohol or Cigarette's. Would put a lot of dealers out of business & create a lot of revenue.

    removing old lead pipe

BG will not touch lead pipes wether they are live or dead, leaking or not. This is in the terms & conditions of the policy, that should have been read once you recieved them. If you read them you will notice that they also don't cover taps/stop taps. As Chris has said the cover is for...

    Drains and blockages!

The Lad from Dyno-Rod should be able to tell you once it is cleared if it's a shared drain. Don't fret on roots in drain just yet, How long was the house empty before you moved in? If it was a fair while this can cause the drains to crust up as it were, This would also suggests that you are...

    My new Bathroom

Looks good to me. Although I have to ask I hope you have some tiles left over? If the bath waste ever starts leaking you gonna need to gain access to it.

Same thing happened to me but I was wearing safety glasses, when I used to work in a metal foundry in Leeds. Not a pleasant experience.
