Sensor on front of Ariston Eurocombi A27 diverter valve

just to confirm the pin on the flow-valve should shoot out (but wont if the diaphragm is shot), the diverter wont move as it will be separated from the valve that controls it.

Sensor on front of Ariston Eurocombi A27 diverter valve

from what you are saying you haven't checked the operation of the flow valve and you are just guessing the diverter valve is seized? guessing and replacing this part will end up costing a few quid, wasting ya time, wont fix the problem and probably cause ya more problems with the boiler. start...

Sensor on front of Ariston Eurocombi A27 diverter valve

are ya sure the diverter is seized? have you separated the flow valve (which houses the dhw diaphragm) from the diverter and checked by manually pushing the pin across? whilst they are separated i would also check the correct operation of the flow valve by turning the hw tap on and ensuring the...

retro fitting a wireless room tstat.

yeah, the system will prob be ok for a wireless stat but the receiver would prob have to be fitted next to the motorised valve(s). you would then be able to remove the old stat and wiring. have a look in the airing cupboard or where the cylinder is and tell us how many valve there is.
