for once i agree with agile! :shock: you only need 1 faulty mixer to prevent all the taps working correctly. turn the cold mains off under the boiler then turn the hw tap on and see if water comes out

the drivers side window motor on my girlfriends hyundai coupe looks to have failed and i am wanting to replace it but i am struggling to find the part no. i don't want to remove the old 1 until i've got a new 1 to replace it with, does anyone know the part number or how i can get it? cheers gaz

with the boiler cold run the hw tap and feel the central heating pipes, if they start to warm up ya diverter is passing. if the boiler cycles on/off whilst you are running a hw tap your plate could be blocked. if it is working correctly might be worth fitting a combi-save

have ya mixed up the molex plugs whilst replacing the pcb?

remove the head of the valve, pull the pin/shaft (with the spring below it) with a pair of grips towards you. if ya can move the shaft towards you then it was stuck. test ya hw.. for a temp repair you can remove the valve and spray sum wd on the inside of the valve and work the shaft which norm...

then ask him why he fitted ya that carp! did ya upset him? :lol:

your boiler doesn't modulate the gas pressure so to regulate the temp it has to turn the burner on/off. wen ya got the heating and water on, does it cycle on and off from the start? or does it only do it wen it gets up to temp?

before replacing anything i would check the shaft on the valve itself isn't stuck :wink:

by the looks of it the part ya got is for britony 80, the boiler ya got is a se
