    what about the diagram texecom have for wiring multiple sire/strobe units? they just have everything wired as normal except lid tamper, which they loop. I could then put one box on sab. maybe I just don't understand the diagram or what you saying :roll:

    yes you could have it on the remaining two zones, one for doors entry/exit (you did mention a keypad) and a pir for the rest of garage. problem is you do get a lot of spiders and furry things in the winter which could activate the pir? :shock:

    At the minute when alarm in part set the back door remains an entry exit zone along with the hall!(not that secure) I wanted to program the back door as an alarm zone in part set or come up with another idea, if possible.(other than installing a new panel) As for the user manual I have one...

    my fathers alarm has been in since 1991 and has never gave a single problem(touch wood). He did replace the bell boxes to modernize it a bit though. :P

    surely the dialler would still make the call on an alarm but the answer on the other end of the line would just be crackly? sounds more like a dialler problem? is it common to need a dsl filter with a dialler ? cos I don't know :?

    try an empty wash with the highest temperature! manufacturers recommend you do this every few months anyhow. I must admit your smell sounds a bit more serious than usual :mrgreen:

    I've got a plasterer in at the minute and he has told me the plaster board on the ceilings are to dry to skim, making the plaster go off to quick to work with.(the skim finish is fresh enough) He wants me to seal all the plaster board on the ceilings :roll: Anyone ever heard of this problem...

    yes I see were your coming from, the pump (which you never mentioned)circulates the hw all the time and ch works through the motorised valve when ch switched on. your wiring looks ok, you should just have to keep your hw switched on as well as your ch to get the radiators to work. (in theory)...

    if its the old type spiral ring its just a matter of unscrewing and replacing with a a new one, not much knowledge needed. I haven't replaced any other type yet e.g ceramic :)
