Interesting more details pls.
From what you've siad the simplest way would be to use the servos and receiver/transmitter from the car to control a switch which would supply power to the moto. Would require two seperate power supplies some 1.5 v for the servos and 12v for the motor
Scott the reason I don't like Gardtec is not really form an end users point of view but from an installation/service point of view. Harden Long asked for a comparison between ther two and that is what we supplied it's a catch 22 as most engineers will favour a particular system. The fobs on the...
The gardtec is a cheap piece of junk. Between the two systems imho no contest would go down the galaxy route. Much more versatile and future proof more reliable than gardtec. The choice is yours. Good bet with the auto dialler btw.

From what your saying if that is also including cabling then that quote seems ok. Without knowing the exact layout of the house it's difficult to say but that seems to cover all the bases. It sounds like a very well specced system for a domestic installation
I ve found a pdf for this panel it lists a tech support number 01372450 960
They should be able to help you it's definitely worth giving them a try
If you link t4 and common together with a small piece of wire does it still say open going to closed when you re move one end of that wire ?
Sounds to me like you have a different contact N/O instead of N/C. You can remove the contact and with the use of a magnet and a multi meter test for continuity. You should get a beep when the magnet is next to the contact and no beep when you pull it away.
Depending on the layout of the system it may be cost effective to have 4 core cable and drop down for callpoints etc but you can carry the other two cores through to the sounders. Saves on cable and reduces installation time . It's also worth noting the system must incorporate at least two...
