    Pyronix enforcer has facility for a wired siren and two wired zones. Pyronix are a manufacturer and you will need to go through a distributor for the products. This is a professional product not DIY

    Sorry did not explain that bit. They need to stay on a joist which is where I will be cutting them which leaves them protruding 6inches in to Hall. As I said someone has bricked up the doorway so the floorboards are supporting the brick. I think it will be a problem if nothing supports boards

    Ii am going to put a floating laminate on top. The chipboard would lower the floor by a few mm to offset the floating floor as i did not want to raise the floor to much.

    U will then be dropping the power to the panel. Your siren may go off. Reinsert fuse after 30seconds and try your code

    Remove battery. Hopefully you will have a fused spur near the main box (not the keypad there is a large white case somewhere containing your batteries and all the wiring.) lever the fuse out. If your not sure what you have don't attempt this.

    Either way you will find out if it's any good always drop the power permanently if still an issue. Best do it daytime in case your bell sounds for a while

    Does it go off if you walk in to zone 2? Wondering if it's omitted that zone during set due to a fault.

    At the risk of going off topic. I use the rpi with just a zwave adaptor plugged in to USB. Many zwave device/sensors out there. However still looking for some kind of zwave transmitter with multiple inputs to signal events from my alarm system... Ongoing

    Hi both are decent enough panels nothing between them really. However an LCD would be a lot easier to program and much more informative should you have a problem for a few extra pounds.

    If you use an external wall then it can be drilled out anytime and a bt socket fitted. It's just saves fitting one later and if bt do it they will fit a big ugly pattress on the wall.

    Can you not just fit a flush box and blank plate on an external wall just in case? Bt will normally wire round the house (from the outside) to wherever.... If u smile nicely
