Thanks for the quick reply :) It seems to be largely paper based. There's evidence of old newspaper in it along with grey fibres 5-10mm long. Its not itchy like glass fibre type. The house was built in the 60s, are there any health concerns associated with this type of insulation? Thanks again

I’ve just moved into a new house. I’ve only ever seen the glass fiber type loft insulation before. Does anyone know what type this is?
