    dont think its a tiling term,but he means regularized,some are smaller and some are bigger. used to be a nightmare in stud 4x2 timbers yonks back.

    did you alternate the grain on the boards you glued? this helps a bit to stop cupping.

    Kitchen cornice/ pelmet

    bet the kitchen fitter didnt clamp the pelmets to the cabinets when he wound the screws in?. when i do pelmets/cornices i clamp and pre drill at the side to stop this very problem.
