Red Blocks when on web pages

Firstly speaking as a web developer IE6 is junk and should always be avoided IE7 is not a lot better and should also be avoided if possible, IE8 is just about OK but still a PITA. We (as in good web developers) always design for sites to work in standards compliant browsers first and to degrade...

New consumer unit but with complications

No Gas, the water main enters the kitchen on the opposite corner of the house. The main bonding will have to run externally around the back and up the side of the house, about 30m. I thought RCBOs would be the likely way to go.

New consumer unit but with complications

The head was replaced at the first meter change 5-10 yrs ago, this was then changed to the new mini meter a few months ago. The PME sticker I think is original, it was certainly there when we moved in 23 yrs ago! and we were TT then as now (no earth from the head). From my reading I know PME...

    B&Q Engineered wood flooring

Bit late to this thread but have done 3 rooms with B&Q natural oak engineered wood flooring. Looks very nice and quality is generally very good (and I am picky!), very easy to lay. As mentioned before you may get some boards with large filled knots or sap wood. If you can't use these for...

My only experience of them was when I ordered oak flat bead from them. I requested it lacquered they replied no problem and the order arrived within a couple of days of the order.

Motorised Valve Actuator for Sunvic eml3454

I'm sure you solved this long ago but in case anyone else wants the answer. The SZM1801 head though clip on with the latest valve body also has holes for the bolts to fit to the older body. I just replaced an old spring return actuator with one.
