I don’t think that’s right. The boiler shouldn’t be firing up if you are not requesting heat.
It’s got to be something to do with the wiring but I’m not an expert and the helpful @RandomGrinch has not been around for a while.
Same as then. Frustrating!
I’ve not found a route to get it to turn off yet. It must be the wiring as mine works flawlessly on the wiring I have which is different to yours
Any reason why it wasnt there last winter and has suddenly started appearing now? Do you think the skirting is showing an issue? It's all along the same wall.
Any one know why I've got water run off / signs of mildew forming? All other rendered properties on the development are not showing signs like mine and were built before mine.
Developer says there is no issue and its the home owners duty to clean it when needed.
Still waiting for these clowns to sort this out but at the same time, I’ve also noticed the opposite side of the house, particularly in the garage has a damp floor down one side and also some skirting in the downstairs wc.
Correct. Functions as expected with the old ones.
Given it’s the same system, would it really be possible that the wires could make the difference? Seems trivial but it’s not my field of expertise.
He has done since and he’s managed to get Tado to come on but it stays on and won’t go off using the stat or phone app.
Would I be right in saying it’s because his wiring center is not using data cables like mine
Yes, I assume he’s already posted if you’re asking. I wasn’t aware.
His supply will be exactly the same as mine as we are both in a persimmon home with a dual heating system using esi. The only different being our cables.
Hi @RandomGrinch
I know someone who has the same kit as me but the wiring is different. See attached.
Based on what you told me, I assumed
+v is his brown and white……. 0v is his blue and white and RH is his orange and white.
He connected it like this and got it working however it just...
Seems like a cheap option to try, would it be best running this across the area or simply installing it in the area where the water first trickles down?
I think it is, yes. It's your typical new build estate ground. Before having the garden done, it was one big water logged piece of grass where your feet sunk in certain parts. We had around 48 tonne of soil and crap removed before starting the garden.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I stop water pooling here in this corner. I’ve a funny feeling the guys that did the garden have cut some corners. It seems to be filtering down from the top level and just sitting on the clay like mud underneath.
9 months would be a short time but those mushrooms were not present a week ago before we went away. I do believe we’ve had plenty of rain days so maybe this accelerated the growth.
I’ll let the house builder know and they can do the investigating rather than myself.
Also just checked outside...
