I have a hot tap that has become very discoloured over the past year or so. The store I bought them from said there was a 10 year warranty. The pictures show the hot tap and the cold tap on the basin. should I try and claim a new one ?
As I said before she lives a hundred miles or so from here so will need a proper spark to do the job.
As long as its safe for now thats great.

My darling daughter has decided to get on the property ladder.

Is it my eyes or is there signs of overheating at the meter?

Also . if you have a decent compass, check what direction its pointing.
Any satellite other than the UK freesat service will only have a very limited free service ( usually NOT in english ), and a Sky type box would not be any good for these either,
I have just had a quote for a roller door for my back yard wall.
The fitters electrician proposed taking a supply via SWA cable from a ring final circuit in the house. Is this "normal" or would it be better going back to the CU?
I am sure that the outer of the coax will already be at or very near to earth poential, due to the many many earthed metalic boxes the cables are srewed into and the numerous splitters and back to back couplers invoved in a cable distribution network, Has anyone ever done a continuity test...
I would consult an electrician .... However, what you reqire is simply a contactor of suitable capacity annd a simple switch to control it.
( radial supply.)
